The Holliston Newcomers Craft Fair

Dear Crafter:

We are excited to extend to you an application and contract for the 31st Annual Holliston Newcomers Club Craft Fair! This year’s Craft Fair will be held the weekend of November 22nd and 23rd, 2008, at the Holliston High School. The Craft Fair will be open from 9am until 4pm both Saturday and Sunday.

The long-standing reputation of our Craft Fair attracts many quality and repeat crafters from all over New England. In the past several years, record crowds—well over 3,000 — attended the two-day event. The HNC Craft Fair is well-publicized in local media, including newspapers, community TV stations and websites; as well as craft magazines and hand delivered flyers. More importantly, our best publicity comes from personal endorsements by crafters and attendees.

The HNC Craft Fair is completely run by volunteers from the Holliston Newcomers Club each year. We are proud to be able to donate all proceeds from the HNC Craft Fair, including booth fees and ticket and raffle sales, to various non-profit organizations in our town. Organizations that have benefited in the past include the Senior Center, The Holliston Food Pantry, Holliston Public Schools, the Police and Fire Departments, the Holliston Public Library and Holliston Council for the Arts.

Every year we request that all crafters donate an item of their choosing for our Raffle Table. Donations from crafters are prominently displayed at the Raffle Table with the crafter’s name and space number — a great way to attract some extra attention to your booth!

We would like to thank all of the crafters that participated in our annual Feedback Survey and Raffle. We truly appreciate all of the wonderful feedback that we received, and have been working on addressing several common points. We are very excited to welcome back the two winners of our Raffle, who will each receive a free booth for this year’s Craft Fair!

We will also be continuing our crafter Referral Program this year. If you refer a crafter not currently in our database, and they are accepted for 2008, you will receive a 10% refund on your 2008 booth fee. Refunds will be given out the day of the fair.

For important information about the Fair, please click on the links to download the application and contract. Please read them very carefully as there are some updates to both this year. Please return your signed contract and application by April 5th, 2008. We recommend keeping a copy for your records. Any applications received after the April 5th deadline will be reviewed on a rolling basis.
