Community Investments

Thank you for your interest in the Holliston Newcomers Grant Program.

For over 30 years, the Holliston Newcomers Club has been committed to giving back to our 
community. In 2014, we were able to approve 18 grant requests totaling over $13,000 thanks 
to our successful fundraising activities such as Craft Fair, Gingerbread House Decorating and 
Touch-a-Truck.

The 2015 grant application is attached below. We will consider only those grants that are 
completed in full and that meet our funding criteria. Specifically, the grant application must
demonstrate that the project would:

1. Have a significant impact on the community, 
2. Provide needed services/projects to the community at large, and
3. Impact a large number of Holliston residents.

Please note, grant proposals which seek to redistribute funds or are to be used strictly operating 
costs will not be considered. All educational requests must be submitted through the designated 
school administrator and no individual educator requests will be reviewed.

Those with grant requests of $7,500 and under should complete sections I-V.  Those with 
requests of greater than $7,500 should complete sections I-VI. If applicable, please submit 
quotes from two different vendors.  Also, please indicate whether or not it will be possible to 
complete the project within the next calendar year if your request is only partially funded.  
All applicants will be notified of decisions in April 2015.

The deadline for grant requests is March 15, 2015.  Requests received after the deadline will not 
be considered. Mail your completed forms to:
