Message from the President

I hope that by the time you are reading this, the flowers are blooming and we are all out enjoying the wonderful spring weather that graced us so early this year.

I would like to thank Tracey Geden for being the Grant Committee Chair this year and working so hard to get the grants prepared for this committee. Thank you very much. We will be having a General Meeting on Friday, April 15 for ALL MEMBERSHIP concerning grants, so please come to the Holliston Historical Society (547 Washington Street) at 7pm. At this meeting, we will also be discussing the future of HNC. Please attend this meeting to help this year’s board members look at the future of this club. We will also be looking to fill the board for next year (2016/17).

Tracey Geden has also been working hard on recruiting for this year’s Easter baskets. Paula DeMarkey has also been doing a wonderful job of getting the Easter meals ready for the seniors in town. I would like to extend a big thank you to both of them for a job well done. These two projects really help the community.

Don’t forget that book club meets on the third Tuesday of every month. So be sure to check out Christel and Mirembe’s book club article about which amazing novel they will be reading this month.
