Message from the President
Enough already with all this snow! I know you all are saying the same thing. In the beginning I thought it was very pretty, but now I just want it gone.
I can’t wait for spring to begin and see all the pretty flowers and the lovely birds. But, I think we are far from that. We are getting ready for our grant season to begin. We do have our grant applications out and can’t wait to start the most important party of HNC. I wanted to thank Cathy Snyder for stepping up and taking on Community
Investments. We all have worked tirelessly this year and I know all our hard work will be able to help out this community in so many ways.
In April, Tracey Geden will be recruiting for Easter baskets for the children of our community and Paula Demarkey has again offered to host the Easter Meal assembly for seniors of our town on Easter Morning. Please feel free to contact them if you would like to help out with either of these great projects.
Ladies’ Night Out is planning a great night out on Thursday, April 9 at Casey’s Crossing right here in Holliston. Come on down to enjoy a great night out with some awesome ladies.
Craft Fair 2015 is already in the planning process. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to one of the Ways & Means members if you would like to help with the planning or the actual Craft Fair day. This is our largest fundraiser of the year. Please mark your calendar with the date Sunday, November 22, so you can be sure you are ready for your two hours of fame (also known as your volunteer shift) at the best craft fair around.
I hope you all enjoy my favorite holiday later this month - even if you aren’t Irish, everyone is on St. Patty’s Day.
With much gratitude,
