Message from the President
Fall has finally arrived I couldn’t be happier. This is my favorite time of year to be out around down enjoying all the Holliston has to offer. Outpost Turkey Farm has some amazing pumpkin’s and there Turkey pies are nice and hot on a chilly fall day.
Highland Farms is a great spot to do your apple picking. And don’t forget on Friday nights when Holliston high football team is playing under the lights there is nothing quite like it to bring back the memories from your high school days.
I wanted to start by thanking Erin Mack, Ingrid Dahlin-Dohety and Katie Airasian for helping out with our meet and greet at the butterfly Aviary during farm days. The weather started off misty and foggy but every got there rain coats and boots on and came out for a fun filled day around town. Please check out our web page if you weren’t able to attend but would like to sign up for events within the club.
I would like to also thank Tracey Geden for planning another wonderful back to school food drive for the Holliston food pantry. It was a great day and a lot of food was able to go onto the food pantry shelves. I would also like to thank all the wonderful volunteers who helped out with this event.
Last but not least I want to thank Lee Kauffman our 2nd VP who was at celebrate Holliston field day all day. It was a fun day had by all and I know she would like to extend a big thanks to Beth Welch, Fran Pleska and Erin Mack for coming and giving her a hand.
